Friday will be one of the best days of my life. Haha ok maybe not, but Yankee tickets for the 2006 season go on sale @ 10 AM.

I'm so excited. The Yankees are going to be in Baltimore (one of my favorite places) in June, August, and September. SHIT YES.
Ok, I'm just really excited. Last season seems so far away, and now that tickets go on sale its like oneee step closer to it being baseball season. Ahhh yes, life is good.

I still can't get over that phrase.
Anyways, SNOW DAYS I love them. But I kinda wanted to work on the paper some more...and I was excited for the pep ralley/basketball game! Hopefully they won't cancel/delay the Mixer though, I'm SO excited for it! We (me, laura, heather, sam) are getting ready @ Robyn's and then going there afterwards, it's going to be amazing. Now all I have to do is meet my date, and I'm set! ;) LOVED my locker sign, it was the cutest thing in the world. Ahhh I'm so excited!
My Dearest Alyssa- Keith Urban is in Playgirl. Were you aware?
Anyways, my day will consist of hanging with Alyssa and Scotty, whom enjoy inviting themselves over.

| You scored as Mimi. You're Mimi! You're not much for rational thought, it seems, and you follow your heart more than your mind. You enjoy danger, and you can probably dance really well. You're older than you seem, and you probably put it all on the line for love. Take it easy on the wildness, but have fun with life!

Soooooo today. Was a red day.
Ummm Chemistry first period, and I got to miss the last half of it to distribute THE HAWK TALK. Man, its so crazy to see it all on paper, since we worked on it for weeks on the laptops and editing and revising and so on...BUT what got my panties twisted was the fact that the page with the golf article (it was suchhh a long article) was GONE. It wasn't even like some pages were skipped, it just appeared as if it never existed. God, I can't even tell you how pissed I was. I worked so hard on it, and I wrote that article, not to mention laid out that page (as well as most of the rest of the sports section), and it had an AD on it :( It was really sad. And I picked up some Hawk Talks thrown all over the place in the halls, WTF. They have no idea what goes on to finish one issue. *rolls eyes* Alright, rant is done.
Soooo the rest of the day was eh, so-so. French was pretty freakin' hilarious at the end of the day, Kelly and I were basically drowning in a pool of tears. This freshman in our class is soooo funny. Like "ha-ha, wtf" funny. Its great.
After school I retook my AlgebraII gatekeeper (really don't think I passed...) and walked with Alyssa to Stin-choo-luh. Wooooo that job seems like FUN! Haha just kidding, guys. Anyways, then my mom came to get me and DAISY was in the car, yay!
Annnnnd thats pretty much it. |

I'm such a slacker. I never update this thing on a regular basis. Meh, here goes. My school day...
Chem- We did some math/atomic stuff? It musn't have been that great, I don't really remember what we did. Oh! We weighed a bean.
Assistance- Worked on the sports page layout for the paper. ITS SO TEDIOUS. Haha Emily has like 65 articles done, and I've finished 1, on golf. Greaaat. I'm on a roll. And I ate some apples, and chilled with Alyssa and Gabi and Alex too.
History- Learned about some more explorers, and did the map-coloring gig. What grade are we in now?
English- Haaaa I love this class. Let's see...we did some sentence stuff, and started talking about AQOTWF (All Quite on the Western Front, but AQOTWF is so much easier..?), and picked our partners for the project (I HATE MY PARTNER) Haha just kidding..Then after lunch (see below) we did Gay-owulf stuff/quiz/study guide. Ugh, I hate it.
Lunch-Continued the on-going fight about Derek Jeter's dive into the stands (Heroic vs. Not Necessary?) You can guess where I stand on the issue, and who's definitely right about how amazing he is. :)
Francais (that would be "French")- Took the diagnostic test again and took a Dictee which I TOTALLY aced (I think.) I am SO not prepared for the Vocab test (english --> french) on Tuesday. Great
So I went home on the bus, and at the bustop, Dorman was in his car and he was like EMILY! And I was like "wtf?" and hes like "I live down the road..." so I asked him for a ride, and that's how I got home! The end!
Now, I have NO YANKEES GAME TO WATCH (wtf, this is some sick joke) but I want to finish my Algebra homework and Driver's Ed Poster so I can watch CSI: @ 9!!! Later |

"...Standing at home plate and in the eye of the storm, Ruth audaciously held up two fingers to indicate the number of strikes, knowing that picter Charlie Root would have to be man enough to throw one near the plate to get a third one. 'I'm going to hit the next pitch down your goddamned throat,' Ruth roared. Root accepted the challenge, and Ruth drove a bent offering into the center field bleachers, the ball traveling 436 feet before landing. The game's most outsized player and beloved personality, the mythmaker without peer, had outdone his own standards for drama"
